Michael Nesbitt is a 27 -year old Washingtonian. He is a proud graduate of the DC’s public school system. In 2006, Michael earned a BA in Sociology/Anthropology from Carleton College in Northfield, MN. Upon returning to DC after college, he joined AmeriCorps and served as a Vista Fellow with Turning the Page, a non-profit dedicated to increasing parental involvement and literacy in DC elementary schools. From 2007 to 2009, Michael was also an Assistant Scout Master for a Boy Scout Troop in Anacostia. In 2009 Michael earned a MA in Transportation Policy from George Mason University. He is currently employed with the Federal Highway Administration.
