Dema Al-Kakhan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University and a Masters in Middle East and Islamic Studies from the American University of Paris.

She has worked in think tanks and non-profit organizations throughout D.C. on Middle East and North Africa policy, development and diplomacy.

She also has experience in youth development and peace education through her years working with a Baltimore based organization, By Peaceful Means, that runs a Summer Peace Camp. She is passionate about youth empowerment, conflict resolution, and bringing joy into the world.
