In 2000, Mikuak helped co-found OCU, an inter-generational community of healing artists, spiritual warriors, and peace workers. It is through this organization that Mikuak has been able to serve the greater community, by providing alternatives and solutions to violence via creative self-expression and self-development.
Nicole Bacon is a staff attorney with Legal Services of Northern Virginia in the Alexandria office. She obtained a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Virginia and later earned her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.
Shahid Buttar joined American Constitutional Law in May 2005 as Associate Director for Communications and Outreach, and graduated from Stanford Law School in 2003. In addition to his work at ACS, Shahid is a poet, media activist and grassroots organizer committed to helping kickstart countercultural (r)evolution.
Dr. Tracee Jamison-Hooks (formerly Dr. Tracee Lynn Jamison) received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Howard University, a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University.
Vincent Guang Hu is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, accredited with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and certified as a Health Counselor in Integrative Nutrition through Columbia University’s Teacher’s College, also in New York.
