
Monica Hinojos

Monica is a social entrepreneur and activist with over 15 years of professional experience in industries ranging from high tech, alternative energy, arts & culture, non-profits, and advertising. She has made a career as a collaborative strategist, creating, growing, and strategically managing mission-driven projects.
Currently, as a consultant, she identifies and supports results-focused and visionary community leaders, social entrepreneurs and activists by spearheading novel programs that spark change through marketing, project management, funding development and coalition building.
In addition to her consulting, Monica is an active volunteer in communities with significance to her. She is a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer for One Common Unity, an Executive Council member of the Business Council for Peace (Bpeace), which helps women entrepreneurs in post-conflict countries. She is the co-team lead on the Bpeace Boston Pod, which is laying the foundation for launching Bpeace in Latin America.
Political activism is also a strong passion of hers, and she served in various roles for political candidates’ campaigns, such a President Barack Obama, Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, Governor Deval Patrick, and most recently candidate for U.S. Senator, Alan Khazei. She also serves on the DNC New England Steering Committee and New England Women for Change.
Monica has a Master of Business Administration from Simmons College School of Management and a Bachelor of Journalism from University of Texas at Austin. She lives in Groton, Massachusetts with her partner, Ray Capes and their dog, Tucker.
